Register as a BWF Provisional Member
If a company opts for provisional membership, it is asked to pay part of its first subscription with the application, rather than once the application has been accepted. In return, it receives some information and can attend open members' meetings.
What to expect
Provisional members are expected to become full members once they complete the normal application process, when they pay the balance of the subscription and gain access to the full range of services. A provisional member can withdraw an application at any time before the process is complete, and will in that case be charged pro rata for each month of membership, with a minimum charge of the equivalent of three months' subscription.
Ensure that the form is correctly filled in as incomplete forms may delay the application process.
Please note that BWF subscriptions are based on turnover and these figures should be confirmed by the submission of the accounts for the previous two years.
Before you begin completing this form, please ensure you have the following information to hand:
- Company Contact Details
- VAT Number
- Insurance Details
- Company Number
- A Company Turnover figure for the last financial year
- Four Referees' Details
On submission of completed Membership Application Form and accounts by paying the equivalent of three months subscription with your application, the BWF will acknowledge receipt and will then process the application process by:
- Confirming your subscription for the whole of the year.
- Taking up references supplied
