A licensed converter is a joinery company which takes a certificated fire door and makes adjustments to it according to the scope of the manufacturer's fire test data sheet. Their principal role is to fit vision panels, although they are also authorised to manufacture frames, fit other requirements such as letter plates and spy holes, and make up doorsets, while maintaining the certification of the fire door.
