Help us get occupation health right for the construction industry. Have your say in B&CE’s short survey.

14 July 2016

What are the problems that need solving? What do you need so the health of your construction workers is improved?

Good occupational health provision within the industry has been in the spotlight for a number of years. Safety in construction has advanced greatly in the past 10 years, but work-related ill health is still an issue.

According to the Health in Construction Leadership Group, UK construction workers are 100 times more likely to die from an occupational disease than from an accident. Also around 1.2m working days are lost every year in the construction sector due to work related ill health.

So how can you help to improve this situation so you can get the most from your workforce?

B&CE want to hear from you - help by completing their short survey

B&CE, the not-for-profit construction industry owned pensions and benefits provider, completed the acquisition of Constructing Better Health (CBH) at the end of March and they want your feedback to better support and help improve occupational health provision in the industry.
By completing their survey, B&CE will ensure that the next steps of any industry scheme are aligned to your needs as an employer as well as your workforce.

Your views will help us all to build a healthier construction industry as a result.
