For over ten years we’ve worked with the BSI to deliver the Timber Window Accreditation Scheme.  TWA members have been able to take advantage of reduced fees for the BSI Kitemark for the timber windows standard, BS 644.

New savings on your BSI Kitemark certification feesIn order to celebrate this ten year milestone, and with the recent important changes to the enhanced security standard, PAS 24, we’ve extended our offering.

New savings on BSI Kitemark certification fees From April 2014, as a BWF member, you can make significant savings by including BS 644 / PAS 24 Windows (Security) and BS 644 / PAS 24 Doors (Weather & Security) within the TWA scheme. You could save up to £3,500 per annum.

Who is eligible?

These savings are available to all BWF members:

If you don’t currently hold a BSI Kitemark for the newly added BS 644 / PAS 24 Windows (Security) and BS 644 / PAS 24 Doors (Weather & Security), you will qualify for the reduced BSI Kitemark fees for these existing certifications.

If you do have a BSI Kitemark for either BS 644 / PAS 24 Windows (Security) and BS 644 / PAS 24 Doors (Weather & Security) or both, you can request BSI convert these BSI Kitemark licences onto the TWA scheme and gain the new reduced fees.

The reduced rates are based on the British Woodworkers Federation providing the technical expertise to the TWA members and being the technical focal point for BSI to liaise with, thus making the process simple and cost effective.

Plus we’re offering a price freeze on current BSI Kitemark BS 644 licences We’re also delighted to confirm that in 2014 all TWA members will have a price freeze / fee reduction for their BSI Kitemark BS 644 licence.*
