About the WITForum

The Woodworking Industry Training Forum, known as the WITForum, is a BWF initiative to tackle the training crisis facing our industry.

Set up in 2006 to produce avenues to find, develop and retain this skilled labour, the WITForum has four central aims:

1.To provide a forum for our members to express their training needs and have a stake in their own future

2.To increase the provision of woodworking and joinery skills training

3.To help trainers provide their students with the skills the industry needs

4.To promote woodworking as a career.

Why join the WITForum?

We believe it is up to us in the industry to make sure we get the trained staff we need. That's why we have set up the WITForum. To help make the WITForum effective, we need to get as many joinery and woodworking companies, training providers and industry bodies on board. So please join the WITForum and work together with us for a better future for the industry.
