DIY SOS – Urgent SOS to help Grenfell – Carpenters needed asap

The team at DIY SOS have been in touch with BWF to see if we can help them find some bodies for an important project – they need them asap (today and for the next week!).  The Big Build is the BBC’s flagship renovation programme. It has been running for 17 years, and attracts up to 5 million viewers per episode in its primetime slot on BBC One. The award winning show, presented by Nick Knowles and his team of Billy, Mark, Chris and Jules, takes on extremely Big Builds.

In this DIY SOS two-part special, the team attempt one of their most important builds yet, as they work with the Grenfell community in West London. The build will consist of a new facility for a bespoke community space and a boxing club that was destroyed in the fire.

They are currently carpenters to the support the build.taking place an empty site, owned by Transport for London (TFL) but leased to The Westway Trust, which is situated under the A40 Westway, on St Marks Road, London W10 6NP. (Bay 20) @diysos
