The WITForum has secured funding from CITB-ConstructionSkills Management & Supervisory Development Programme (M&SDP) Continuation Fund to support BWF Members in gaining certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Chain of Custody, and support for Health & Safety Audits and Basic Factory Production Control.
The aim of the funding is to raise the environmental, efficiency and safety of our member companies, and also to prepare them for changes in the building regulations that will require production control systems in 2013. We also wish to raise the standards of the joinery industry as a whole.
Members can offset part of the cost for obtaining these certifications and audits through the BWF's Total Support Services. The amount fo support varies developing on the service, but most will see support of around 50% of the certification or audit fees.
As the services are provided directly through the Total Support Services, this funding does not need to be applied for seperately and is simply offset from the fee.
- Applicant company must be a member of the BWF
- Applicant company must be in-scope and registered with CITB-ConstructionSkills
- 35 'outcomes' are available, and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
