Fire Door Scheme chairman Peter Johnson has announced that the rules of the scheme have changed and doors with unglazed apertures will now be ruled out.
“We’ve always recommended that doors should be cut and glazed by certified, licensed converters within our scheme. Our concern has been that selling apertured unglazed doors on the open market risks them being glazed by those operating outside the scheme’s controls.” said Mr Johnson.
