Three Months In And There’s Lots To Do

I am now in my third month since taking up the Presidency for the third time in my career and it’s certainly different this time. As the BWF is now an incorporated Limited Company, all the Executive officers (which are all member representatives) are Directors, which brings with it responsibilities but also more hands on with management too. In my last two terms we left all the day-to-day management and operations to the Chief Executive and his staff. Apart from Council meetings and any other committees that you might have sat on, more time was spent on the social scene making sure the BWF had a voice in the wider industry and Government.
