BWF Members are welcome to come along to the next TREP (Timber Resource Efficiency Partnership) meeting which will be held at BRE Watford at 10.30am on January 31st.
The meeting will be discussing the progress of work undertaken by 3 TREP sub- groups. This includes the introduction of a stock range of engineered timber sections for doors and windows via merchants, and a report on the progress towards the introduction of a local wood waste collection scheme.
A report on a UK Gov consultation period on the introduction of banning wood waste going to landfill will also be on the agenda.
In the afternoon, commencing 2pm, we will be holding a BRE Workshop on the management of wood waste including the use of the free-to-use TREP Online Wood Waste Management Tool.
All BWF Members are welcome to attend these informative cross timber-industry meetings.
