Did you know that the official launch of the Green Deal is set for 1st October 2012, however, it is thought that the first Green Deal plans will not be fully completed until early 2013. Part of the reason for this is that consumers looking to make energy efficiency improvements to their property through the Green Deal financing packages will have to wait until January 28th 2013 before the first loans become available.
It is vital that our industry is starting to get Green Deal Ready and BWF has launched “An easy guide to the
Green Deal” to provide an initial introduction to the Green Deal. With an army of Civil Servants now dedicated to Green Deal Delivery, the Green Deal is very much evolving on a weekly basis. As a result this document is intended to be very much a live document and we will keep updating it as the Green Deal clarifies in coming months. We also recommend that you keep an eye on the BWF Newsletter for key updates.
