The WITForum has been successful in gaining funding to help BWF members grow their businesses and your company could access this funding.
The funding comes through the CITB, and will have three phases that will identify our members' requirements for growth, and put in a programme of support through training, and one-to-one company support.
We are looking to engage with 40 members, particularly micro and SME members, but who must be in-scope and registered with the CITB, who can help us indentify where we could help your business grow with specialist and industry specific training and one-to-one mentoring support.
This will involve a short interview either by phone or in person with one of our specialist consultants – if you would like to participate, please contact Dave Campbell, BWF Training Manager, to ensure you are included in this phase. We may also contact you by telephone to ask you to participate over the next two months.
Members involved in the interview process will be given priority over other members to access the training and one-to-one company support, worth thousands of pounds in the next phase starting in 2014. A pilot project run by another timber trade association is already showing significant growth in those companies involved.
