The draft harmonized standard prEN 14351-2 which relates to the performance characteristics of internal pedestrian doorsets is available for comment. This comments phase is part of the process in the development of the standard which will lead to CE marking of internal pedestrian doorsets. Comments on the draft standard should be sent through to kevin.underwood@bwf.org.uk by Friday 19 September 2014 in order to be included in our response to BSI.

2014 has been a busy year for standards work, with activity on a wide range of products including fire doors, windows and external doorsets, and staircases. BWF is actively participating and keeping a watching brief on over 30 UK and European standard committees and we will inform you of developments and give you plenty of time to feed your views in so that we can represent you effectively through our activities.
