Why did you choose a career in woodworking and joinery?

At home I like to build random bits and pieces from wood so I thought it would be good to get some more experience in woodworking.

What is your proudest achievement to date?

Being able to use the Stegherr machine on my own.

Why do you think an apprenticeship is a positive first step into the sector?

It helps you gain the experience you need to progress more in the sector. Doing an apprenticeship means that I’ll be able to progress and complete my qualifications and grow with the company.

What do you believe are the key benefits of an apprenticeship?

You get the experience needed to do a job in woodworking and joinery and it can be completed alongside studying Maths and English if needed.
