Why did you choose a career in woodworking and joinery?
I enjoy working with timber and wanted to make this into a career.
What is your proudest achievement to date?
Gaining new skills in the workplace and learning how windows and doors are made, from the starting product to seeing it as a finished item.
Why do you think an apprenticeship is a positive first step into the sector?
It gives more experience and training in new areas that you haven’t been in before and broadens your knowledge about a wide range of different woodworking tools and machines.
What advice would you give others thinking about a career in woodworking and joinery?
