Overview

Gowercroft Joinery is a multi award-winning British manufacturer of timber windows and doors. We specialise in high-performance joinery for listed buildings, conservation areas and heritage retrofit projects.

Timber is at the heart of what we do – and always has been. It’s beautiful, sustainable and designed to last. We work exclusively with responsibly sourced Accoya and engineered Red Grandis, selected for their exceptional durability and dimensional stability. Every product range is supported by full Environmental Product Declarations, developed through lifecycle assessments in collaboration with UK universities.

Nothing leaves our factory unless it meets our own exacting standards. Glazing systems, draught seals, coatings, adhesives… everything is tested as a complete unit (not just in isolation) for weather performance, air pressure and PAS 24 security.

But it’s not just about the product, it’s about the people. We work closely with architects, contractors and homeowners to offer practical advice and tailored support. You won’t be passed from one department to another. You’ll be heard, looked after, and kept in the loop.

Our full in-house service includes design, surveying, manufacturing and specialist installation. The result is consistency from start to finish; no handovers, no compromise. It’s a model that delivers – 99.5% of our products leave the factory right first time.

We also stand by what we make. Our 10-year no-quibble guarantee covers everything: not just the parts, but servicing and aftercare too. And with our optional Timbacare maintenance package, that guarantee can be extended indefinitely.

We’re just as passionate about the future of the craft. As proud members of the 5% Club, over 11% of our team is in apprenticeships or formal training. Many have gone on to win BWF Apprentice of the Year – a testament to the skills we’re passing on.

And when it comes to recognition? We’ve spent the past eight years winning national awards for product innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship – including multiple BWF accolades and projects featured in RIBA award-winning buildings.
