The BWF's Health & Safety Hero campaign is a new initiative to achieve zero tolerance in respect of fatal injuries, RIDDOR related incidents and occupational ill health incidents in the woodworking industry.
We are providing our members with a whole host of resources to help them achieve this and to embed a health & safety culture into their businesses.
Below is a video introduction from the BWF's lead member for Health & Safety, Robin Baker, who is general Manager at member company Premdor UK. See why he is so passionate about the campaign and how you can get involved.
This section also has all the resources associated with the campaign, topics including wood dust, machine training, manual handling and more, and include short videos you can show to your staff, presentations you can adapt to your own company's health & safety processes and safety essential checklists you can give to each member of staff. There will be a new topic launched each month.
