The purpose of this course is to train candidates to supervise and manage employees using woodworking machinery and associated equipment.
The scope of this course includes:
- Identifying and preventing machine and operational hazards
- Machine safety devices, including jigs
- Key machine operating procedures
- Specific machine requirements
- Existing guarding and current legislation and safe working practices
