Employee Training Hub

Ongoing training and development are essential for the growth of the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry. By focussing on the needs of our members, the BWF is committed to the development, quality assurance, and provision of training. BWF members of all sizes can ensure their voices are heard. Through the Wood Industry Training (WIT) Forum and the BWF’s inclusion in the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) Employer Directory, we ensure that training meets the high standards expected by our sector.

Why train through the BWF?

To access first-class training for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry, we collaborate with a range of Training Providers across the UK to source courses that meet the highest standards for our sector. If you are a BWF member, discounted rates may apply. Eligible members may also be able to access CITB funding, with the training provider handling the claim on your behalf.
