£1,000 funding to cover any training! The WITForum has access to a pot of funding for training which – for the most part – can fund any sort of training within your business. If you have paid for training planned before the year end, or have undertaken it within the last month, funding may be available.

Use it or loose it! We are hoping that we can secure this fund again in 2015, but we must spend the fund in order to make the case for further support next year.

We have had training funded for the following:

  • The FENSA MTC for both installation and surveying
  • Machine Refresher Training
  • Marketing training
  • OSAT/NVQ achievement (if completed within 2014)
  • Lean training

Other training could be funded – please contact the BWF to see if your training could be funded.

The conditions:

  • Up to £1,000 available per employee, although we have a pot of £25,000 for the whole membership, so this will initially be restricted to £1,000 per company
  • Your business must be registered and in-scope of CITB. You will need to provide your registration number
  • If the course is not above (and please note that the course above may be for specific courses offered through BWF or another specific provider) it will need to be approved for funding via CITB, which is done through the BWF/WITForum.
  • The training must take place in 2014 and we will require evidence of an invoice for the training. Other evidence may be required as advised by the BWF.

If you wish to access this fund, please contact Dave Campbell, Marketing & Training Manager at dave.campbell@bwf.org.uk or call 0844 815 9981 as soon as possible to secure your funding.
