Our quarterly State of Trade survey is a vital tool, not only to help members by providing better information on trends in the woodworking sector, but also to support the lobbying and representation work that we do on your behalf – simply put, this is essential information.
In the past month the International Monetary Fund and European Commission have independently suggested that the time has come for the British government to consider redirecting planned current expenditure toward investment in the country’s capital infrastructure to provide jobs, and vital economic activity, near-term and leave a long-term legacy to support future economic expansion. It has therefore never been more important for us to have a robust evidence base about recent trends within our sector to present to government in order to help build on the momentum these influential institutions have started.
We are working in conjunction with the Constructions Products Association on this initiative and our figures will be integrated and compared to the broader market. All data supplied is confidential. The deadline is the 4th July, but it would be great if you could complete now (or forward to on to an appropriate colleague)
We anticipate results being available later in July. Please invest this small amount of time in helping us to better support and represent your business and the wider woodworking sector.
