The BWF’s WITForum has secured another trench of funding for a business development and coaching programme to bring about sustained growth in BWF member companies.
The programme provides around £3,000 worth of support for one-to-one mentoring support from a business development coach.
The programme follows a successful pilot run in 2014 and H2 2015 with 16 BWF member companies that has already seen growth achieved (or expected) that is above the industry average. A skills gap research paper was conducted in 2014 with 40 companies from within the BWF membership which showed significant skills gaps in:
Funding is provided jointly by the CITB's Growth Fund and the Business Growth Service (formally Growth Accelorator).
A limited number of fully-funded places are available to CITB in-scope BWF members who are based in England who have not previously accessed Growth Accelorator funds or previously been on the BWF Coachin/Mentoring Programme. Other options are available for those that do not meet this criteria. Please contact BWF as soon as possible for more information.
Details of the programme are as follows:
• To provide three face-to-face coaching sessions from a business development expert, with industry experience, to help look specifically at your company and the ways to overcome the barriers to growth
• To provide an additional three mentoring sessions to build on the above with the same business development expert
• To provide you with an achievable growth plan for your business and the support to implement it
