The BWF is bidding for funds to create an online joinery estimating training programme and we are looking for interested members to contribute to a working group that will shape its content.
We are proposing that the module be pitched at two levels, beginners and experienced staff, to help them gain or improve their skills respectively in joinery estimating.
Funds are still subject to approval from CITB for the development, but we are hopeful we will be able to begin development by the summer.
The development of this module came about after a number of members expressed a concern that there was no estimating training available that was specific to joinery and timber.
