The Domestic Group concerned with the development of the amendments to Approved Documents L1A and L1B held its third meeting earlier this week at the offices of Cyril Sweet in London. Cyril Sweet is a consultancy with expertise in low carbon construction and is advising the Zero Carbon Hub which is leading the consultation process. The meeting was part of the process moving towards the publication of a consultation document by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) which is expected in December. The main business of the meeting was to review the initial responses made by the various sectors of the construction industry on which the changes will have an impact.
