The Volatile Organic Compounds in Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refinishing Products Regulations 2012 come into force today – 27th July 2012. The new Regulations consolidate the 2005, 2009 and 2010 Regulations and revise Schedule 3, to implement changes to Annex III of the Paints Directive, updating ISO 11890-2 and adding the cheaper ISO 11890-1 (2007) test method to be used in certain circumstances.
