The Department of Health is currently revising its guidance on windows in healthcare facilities – HBN 00-10 Part D: 'Windows and associated hardware'. This is one of a series of Health Building Notes (HBN) which provide specifications and design guidance on building components for healthcare buildings which are not adequately covered by current British Standards.

The Department has appointed Capita as project manager of the consultation process and the consultation is designed to give you the opportunity to comment on the content of the proposed guidance.  You can download a current draft of the revised HBN.

Chris Addison is co-ordinating the BWF response. If you have any comments please use this comments form and send back to chris.addison@bwf.org.uk by close of play on Monday, 18 November 2013
