Future Home Standard and new U Values Guidance Paper March 2021

To enable the Government to achieve its legal target to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, it has issued a draft amendment to Approved Document L for both new and existing dwellings in England. This document sets out the Government’s plans for the U-values for windows and external doors, which are likely to come into effect in about a years’ time (spring 2022).
