BWF Business Development and Mentoring Scheme

Through the Wood Industry Training Forum you can now access a new CITB fully funded specialist one-to-one mentoring programme.  This builds on the highly successful 2015 BWF Mentoring Programme and gives you a dedicated business development consultant who can help you to improve productivity, boost sales, optimise profits, develop your team (increasing the added value per employee) and target strategic priorities for the business - helping you to get your business fit for the future.
 
There are a limited number of fully-funded places for CITB in-scope BWF members.  Your mentor can help you:
  • Develop a business plan
  • Improve systems and procedures
  • Improve business development and sales
  • Deliver effective marketing and sales plans
  • Set up an effective training plan
The funding allows for a minimum of eight days of support and mentoring to help you achieve your goals!

Who can Apply?

Any in scope CITB business with up to:
  • Up to 99 employees
  • Up to date with levy payments
  • Up to date with levy returns
  • As long as you have not made an application to the Flexible Fund within the last twelve months
Funding is open in three windows and applications need to be made by the following dates:
 
  • 17th July 2017
  • 2nd October 2017
  • 20th November 2017
Please note that every effort will be made to process an application to but allow us at least 3 working days to ensure maximum opportunity to secure the funding for you
