Chief Executive’s Blog: Fiddling While Shoreditch Burns

I’m still slightly freaked by the fact that we’ve spent a normal morning working while the office building round the corner burns down. According to the report on the BBC News site, the fire started in a restaurant in the early hours of the morning and has been going ever since.  The roads around us have been cordoned off and there are fire engines parked everywhere. We think it must be more or less under control, as we’ve seen firefighters moving across the roof.  But there’s still a lot of smoke.
