We have received the very sad news of the closure of BWF member Sprowston Joinery’s Norwich factory After prolonged efforts to continue following a factory fire last August, owner, David Lomax has advised us that they have no option but to close. The company has been trading for over 50 years and although having a good name in the market, a full order book with very positive long term sales prospects, due to insurance difficulties there is insufficient money to finance the long term profitably of the company in this difficult market as it would be like starting a new company. Having scaled down after the fire there are still a number of employees who are now looking for work within a 20 miles radius of Norwich. If you would like any further information regarding these or certain items for sale such as softwood, hardwood, customer base, window designs, and various cleaned woodworking machines please let Michael Lee know by email see list attached)
